                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY
                   LOCATED NORTHWEST FROM CONCORD ROAD, NORTHEAST
                   OF DURHAM DRIVE, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned an alley located northwest from Concord Road,
         northeast of Durham Drive, more particularly described herein, 
and
         as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by 
refer-
         ence:
               
                A 20 foot wide unopened alleyway beginning on the
                northwest line of Concord Road some 1010.7 feet
                northeast of the intersection of the northwest line
                of Concord Road with the northeast line of Durham
                Drive, and extending northwest some 316.5 feet
                between parallel lines to the southeast line of
                Phils Drive.  Said alleyway separates part of lot
                21, Concord Heights Subdivision, as shown by plat
                of record in deed book 790, page 482, R.O.H.C.,
                from lots 1 and 34, block A, Resubdivision of Block
                A and Part of Block B, Concord Heights, as shown by
                plat of record in plat book 15, page 13, R.O.H.C. 
                Tax Map No. 158K-B-3 and 4, and 158F-F-16 and 17.
               
               
              	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as provided by law.
